Wild Countryside British Honey
AWARD-WINNING FLAVOUR
Wild Countryside British Honey showcases some of the finest clear, runny honey available in England and is the recipient of a Great Taste Award for 2018.
One of our most popular honeys, it is made by bees during the summer months as they gather pollen and nectar from hedgerows, wildflowers, and trees, including lime trees, which give it a joyful, bright citrus note.
Wild Countryside is a deliciously runny honey with a truly tasty, unique floral flavour. Perfect as the star ingredient in anything: from a drizzle on your porridge, to a stir into your ginger tea, or even mixed into a marinade for natural sweetness… or by the spoon when no one’s looking!
"A most pleasing golden colour, good viscosity and enchanting aroma. Floral on the palate." – Guild of Fine Food
From our award-winning organic farm in Lincolnshire, broadcaster and honeybee farmer Jez Rose established the world’s first certified Carbon Neutral honey farm: Bees & Co. You may recognise him from BBC1’s Saturday Kitchen, ITV1’s James Martin’s Saturday Morning, or other shows and publications, but Jez is an ethical, artisan beekeeper, and with his team cares for honeybees on behalf of some of the most iconic brands in Britain. Bees & Co are the first official beekeepers on the Burghley House Estate in more than 100 years. Through our breeding and reintroduction programme, we are playing an active part in helping to prevent the decline of the native British honeybee, while our award-winning, raw, 100% British honey helps showcase the health and taste benefits of true artisan honey.
